Top 10 Makeup Products Under £10

Hi everyone! Yes, it’s time for an updated Top 10 under £10 post! Most of you will know that although I have my high end favourites, drugstore is where my heart will always lie. It wasn’t until less than a year ago that I started buying high end products (other than a random MAC lipstick and lipliner that I bought to annoy my ex boyfriend) and drugstore makeup has come such a long way since I was in school. To me, it’s so important to share the products that really stand out and are super affordable with you all pretty regularly. Let me know if you already own anything I’m talking about and if you like it, or if this post inspires you to try anything out!

Revolution Conceal and Define

And nobody was surprised that this was at the top of my list. I will be really shocked if this product doesn’t feature in every top 10 under £10 posts I ever do honestly, as it’s a game changing concealer and I can’t do my makeup without it! I use it for cut creases, highlighting and concealing, and I’m very tempted to pick up a contour shade soon too.

Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation

I love this foundation! I wrote a review not long ago comparing it to two other affordable foundations I was trying out (you can find it here) and this one won. My only worry is that it may be breaking me out, but I haven’t fully worked out what actually is yet so I will be sure to update you when I work it out. However, the coverage and finish are beautiful, and it lasts incredibly well on my combination/oily skin!

Rimmel Stay Matte in ‘Latte to Go’

Buy now

When I first saw this lipstick, I thought it would be too light for me. Then I realised that it’s almost the same shade as the more expensive MAC Jamie Genevieve lipstick, and I honestly love using this with a lip liner. The Rimmel Stay Matte lipsticks as a whole range are incredible, especially for such an affordable price. They last really well, aren’t overly drying and have such a great range of shades- I definitely recommend!

CYO Take a Shine Lip Gloss

Buy now

Years ago, who would’ve know that you’d be able to buy an affordable lip gloss that isn’t too sticky to wear? CYO are an amazing brand with really inexpensive products, and this lip gloss is one of my favourite products from them. It’s really sheer but is a quite peachy nude, but I’ll wear it over pretty much any colour of matte lipstick. However, it’s also available in other shades, so something for everyone!

Revolution Cream Contour Palette

Buy now

Recently, I’ve been talking about how if I choose between either cream or powder contour, I will now always choose cream. In the past I would never have imagined myself saying that, as cream products terrified me! Some days I will use both types, but when I have to pick one I will always use this product. It just looks a lot more natural on the skin, as powder products can look unsurprisingly, kind of powdery! This palette is really really good whether you’re a beginner to cream contour or an expert.

Barry M Tri Blend Highlighter in Bronze Deco

Buy now

Drugstore has really upped it’s game with highlighters over the past year, and this one is just amazing! It may look dark, and in honesty I can only wear it when I have a tan, but if you just take the lightest of the three shades then it’s a lot lighter than it looks. However, this would definitely look beautiful on deeper skin tones too. There is another highlighter in the same style with lighter shades which I definitely want to try, but it’s obviously the same formula as this so it’s definitely worth trying out!

Revolution Hyaluronic Fix Spray

Buy now

I swear by this setting spray! I’ve tried out a high end setting spray, and I liked it but I couldn’t afford to pick it up again so I tried this one out, and I now honestly don’t see the need to splurge on the previous spray again. Not only do I use this to set my makeup, but I also use it to prime sometimes- especially under extremely matte foundations! Revolution, if you see this please bring out a supersize version of this because I go through it so quickly!

Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Gel

Buy now

Ever since I bought this brow gel I have used it everyday. I have the dark brown tinted one, but they have a clear one if that’s what you prefer. With brow gels, I definitely don’t see the point in spending lots of money if you can find a great drugstore one, and this Rimmel one is great!

Barry M Unicorn Priming Drops

Buy now

I’m obsessed with this primer! It comes in a dropper, and is pink which of course makes it more aesthetically pleasing. I love it because it does the two things I look for in a primer- makes your face look glow and creates a tacky base! I definitely recommend trying this out if you’re looking for an affordable, great quality primer.

Revolution Sugar and Spice Blush Palette

Buy now

This blush palette has something for everyone, and I’ve barely put it down since I bought it. I personally love to mix the matte shades to create the perfect colour for each individual look. Honestly, I don’t use the shimmer shades just because I don’t really like shimmery blushes, but it’s still absolutely worth the super affordable price just for the matte shades. It’s such a beautiful blush palette, and blush is underrated and needs to make a comeback, and that is the truth!
